What ist the Mobile Scaffolding?
ABOUT THE MOBILE SCAFFOLDING
Mobile scaffolding is a mobile (wheeled) scaffolding system used both outside and inside buildings as work areas. They are very practical systems that allow even a single employee to relocate easily. Mobile scaffolds are produced from steel and aluminum materials. Steel mobile scaffoldings require more heavy loads; walling, mechanical installation, plaster, painting, etc. It is widely used in renovations of works. Mobile scaffoldings made of aluminum are widely used in light works that require more assembly.
TS EN 1004 is the European Union standard for the design, production and use of mobile scaffoldings. This standard determines the strength, durability and safety requirements of mobile scaffolding.
According to TS EN 1004, mobile scaffolds must have the following features:
- Its height should be up to 12 meters (indoors) and 8 meters (outdoors).
- It must be moveable with wheels.
- Height and platform width must be adjustable.
- It must be produced robust and durable.
- It must be designed to be built securely.
The main features of mobile scaffolds are:
They can be moved with wheels. In this way, the scaffolding can be moved to another location after installation.
It is small in size. In this way, it can be used even in narrow spaces.
It is easy to install and disassemble. Even a single person can install and dismantle it in a short time.
Prices are more affordable than other scaffolding systems.
